LGBTQ councillor attacked in a Murcia kebab shop after trying to use the toilet

Víctor Sáez, Lorquí(Spain) councillor for LGBTQ rights, went to dinner at a kebab shop in Murcia during the Bando de la Huerta festival. At around 11pm, he asked to use the toilets, which the owner refused. An employee in a red apron mocked him with contemptuous gestures. Shortly afterwards, Víctor claims to have been violently assaulted, with homophobic threats such as "I'm going to kill you, you faggot" and "I'm going to slit your throat". He filed a complaint with the El Carmen police.
