Homeless man beaten while trying to help assaulted employee

An unknown man starts punching an Oakland grocery store employee after the latter asks him to open his bag. A 71-year-old homeless man , Tom Jensen, who has been living in an RV near Chinatown for 20 years, tries to intervene. The surveillance video shows him being thrown against a shelf and struck several times. He says he wasn't afraid and would do it again if he had to.
