Citizens beat up pickpocket in Milan

A group called Article 52 caught a pickpocket in mid-air on the streets of Milan. They slammed him against a wall and beat him up, without much discretion. This collective of local vigilantes is taking action because, in their view, the forces of law and order no longer really intervene in the face of these petty crimes. A number of videos have been circulating showing their muscular interventions. In Italy, these groups are starting to appear all over the place. Many people are fed up with repeated thefts and no longer rely on the police to solve the problem.
