At least 31 people have been arrested after attacks on KFC and Bata stores in Khulna, Bangladesh. According to the police, it all started during a protest march against the Israeli military offensive in Gaza. Part of the procession is said to have left the group to target businesses: the windows of the KFC were smashed, the furniture ransacked, a TV, fridge and oven gone. The Bata store was also looted, with several shoes stolen. Other towns reported similar incidents. Police promise swift arrests.
