A customer was physically assaulted by a Walmart employee on Nolensville Pike, while using a self-checkout just before closing time. The employee, who accused the customer of not having paid for all his items, began to verbally harass him. Apparently, the customer was simply trying to pay for a single item. Once payment was complete, the employee took the receipt and change, then taunted him. When the customer asked for his change, the employee grabbed him by the neck and a scuffle broke out. The customer managed to fight him off. The employee called the police but was dismissed.
