Woman arrested after car chase with two children on board

In Greenfield, Wisconsin, a woman was arrested after a car chase that ended in an accident on the highway. It all began on Monday, March 3, when police pulled her over on suspicion of theft from a Walgreens. As an officer approached, she sped off, fleeing on I-894. She drove at 113 mph, zigzagging between vehicles. Attempting to pass between a truck and a car, she lost control and stopped in the middle of the road. The woman got out of the vehicle, but police soon discovered that she was not alone. A 5-year-old boy ran out of the car, followed by a crying 2-year-old girl.
