The Serbian parliament plunged into chaos after opposition MPs threw smoke bombs and tear gas into the middle of the session. They were protesting against the government and supporting students who had been on strike for four months. The movement has gained momentum, attracting teachers and farmers, and represents the biggest threat to President Aleksandar Vucic in ten years. During the tensions, a parliamentarian suffered a stroke and is in critical condition.
