Man suspected of raping and murdering 2-year-old lynched in Brazil

In Brazil, a tragedy unfolded in Tabira in the state of Pernambuco. Antônio Lopes Severo, suspected of raping and killing Arthur Ramos Nascimento, a 2-year-old child nicknamed "Frajola", was arrested by police. The child, in his care with his partner, had been admitted to hospital with numerous wounds on his body. On arrival at the police station, local residents pulled the suspect from the police vehicle and lynched him. Transported to hospital, he died during his transfer to another care unit on Tuesday 18th.
