Neighbors save a woman and her dog from a fire in Mons

At around 4.30pm on Tuesday, a fire broke out in an apartment on rue Verte in the center of Mons (Belgium). The fire department was on its way, but the situation was becoming urgent. Passers-by and neighbors decided to take action. By placing a ladder on a van, they managed to reach the apartment window and save a young woman and her dog. A fine example of reactivity and mutual aid that prevented a tragedy.
