In Dmitrov, a gray town about 65 km north of Moscow, an accident has highlighted an odd form of inclusivity. A wheelchair-bound man was crossing a well-signposted crosswalk when a cab hit him head-on. In the snow, the 31-year-old driver failed to avoid him, throwing the pedestrian out of his wheelchair. He was taken to hospital. On a positive note, at least the driver took the trouble to stop after the impact, which is not always the case in Russia.
