Oliver White, 27, a luxury watch salesman in London, was the victim of a robbery on May 25, when uninsured watches worth 1.6 million euros were stolen. Tied up and assaulted, he was accused by his employers the very next day of not putting up enough resistance. Devastated, he transferred his savings, amounting to 16,000 euros, to the company before committing suicide. The investigation ruled out any involvement on his part. The watches and three accomplices remain unaccounted for.
