On a Jetstar flight from Sydney to Perth, 34-year-old passenger Amy-Lee Botefuhr was allegedly "disruptive" and refused to wear her seatbelt. On landing, federal police escorted her off the plane. During the intervention, she allegedly attacked two police officers with a pen hidden under her clothes, injuring one in the neck and face, and the other in the arm. The injured officers were treated, and Botefuhr was arrested. Charged with several counts, she faces up to 13 years in prison. She remains in custody until her hearing on January 31.
