Man caught trying to start a fire in Los Angeles

In Los Angeles, the devastating fires forced 150,000 people to flee, burned more than 40,000 hectares and caused 24 deaths. Three suspects, including 39-year-old Jose Gerardo Escobar, were arrested on arson charges. Escobar (this video) was caught near a burning tree in Azusa, just 6 km from the dreaded Eaton Fire (the name of the devastating fire everyone knows). Meanwhile, deserted homes are being looted: 68 people have been arrested for burglaries. The district attorney promises rigorous prosecution of those profiting from this tragedy.
