Teenager arrested after machete attack in Melbourne

A 15-year-old teenager has been arrested after allegedly attacking a 39-year-old man with a machete during an attempted carjacking in St Kilda, Melbourne. At around 9:15pm on Sunday evening, the victim was walking along Barkley Street when he was approached by a boy and a girl asking for his car keys. After his repeated refusal, the boy allegedly pulled out a machete and struck the man on the back of the head. Injured, the man was hospitalized, and the investigation to find the accomplice continues.
