Fatal rail accident in Texas following a derailment caused by a truck

In Pecos, Texas, a train derailed on Wednesday after colliding with a tractor-trailer stuck on the tracks. The accident, which occurred near Oak Street and Dot Stafford Street at around 5:45 p.m., killed two people and injured four others. The train, carrying hazardous materials, also hit the Chamber of Commerce building. Streets remain closed for rescue and investigation.
