Israel reportedly unleashed a 'seismic bomb' so powerful it was registered on the Richter scale in Syria. The air strikes targeted weapons depots after the fall of the Assad regime. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, these were the 'heaviest' strikes in Syria's coastal region since the attacks began in 2012. The explosion was so large that it registered as a magnitude 3.0 earthquake. The weapons depots targeted were in the Tartus region, where one of Russia's two military bases in Syria is located.
