An individual quietly walking near Vancouver's Hudson's Bay store was punched in the face, knocking him to the ground. The totally unexpected event took place at around 10.04pm on November 28. Immediately after striking, the assailant, a man in his twenties wearing dark pants and a checkered shirt, fled towards Granville Street. Some fifteen witnesses were present. Some intervened to help the victim, while others alerted the police. The victim, who suffered facial contusions, did not require hospitalization.
