Charlotte Dujardin, three-time Olympic dressage medalist, has been suspended for a year and fined 10,000 euros for behavior contrary to the protection of horses. She was seen in a video excessively whipping a horse's legs during a training session 4 years ago. She has been banned from competition until next year and cannot appeal the decision. In addition to this sanction, Dujardin will no longer be able to take part in national or training events.
