Actress swept away by giant wave in Thailand

Kamilla Belyatskaya, a 24-year-old Russian actress, died after being swept away by a giant wave while exercising on her yoga mat at Lad Ko viewpoint on the Thai island of Koh Samui. She had just arrived alone by car to enjoy the scenery and exercise facing the sea. A video shows her body being tossed about in the tumultuous waters. Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, who arrived 15 minutes after the incident, she could not be saved. The area is known for its unpredictable waves, which are dangerous during the monsoon season.
