Explosive attack on mayor's house in Colombia

A hooded man threw a bomb at the house of Mayor Jaime Herrera in El Carmen de Atrato, Colombia. The scene, captured on camera, shows the suspect throwing the explosive device before fleeing. The explosion caused damage, but no one was hurt: the mayor's family was away and Herrera was at his office. The mayor revealed that he had been the victim of extortion attempts by the National Liberation Army (ELN), a group recognized as terrorist. He asked for increased security to protect his family and the region.
