A pet lion attacks a man who tried to take a selfie with the beast (Warning - shocking)

In Lahore, Pakistan, a man was seriously attacked by a lion after trying to pose for a photo near the animal's cage. The shocking scene shows the lion biting the man on the hip, despite the efforts of two other people to free him. As the victim pleaded with the lion, shouting "Spare me!" and calling the animal "Simba", the latter finally released his prey after the intervention of three men. Transported to hospital, his injuries have yet to be assessed.
