Thieves disguised as Muslim women steal jewelry worth 150,000 euros from a shopping mall

A 22-year-old man, Cody Shannon Blake, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a daring and aggressive robbery at a Brisbane jewelry store. With an accomplice, he planned his disguise in feminine Muslim garb and balaclavas, and even observed the Rhia Collection jewelry store to note the vendor's habits. On May 22, the two accomplices, armed with pistols, demanded the contents of the shop windows. A horrified customer screamed, disturbing the thieves, who left the mall in a stolen Mercedes. The jewels were never recovered.
