A thief is arrested by passers-by seconds after stealing a woman's cell phone

A man on an electric bike was stopped by passers-by after stealing a woman's iPhone. As he tried to flee, he fell off his bike and was quickly subdued by witnesses. Police officers then arrived on the scene and arrested the 23-year-old suspect, to the applause of the crowd. The other accomplice fled at high speed. Police recovered a silver iPhone with distinctive stickers, including one from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Investigations are continuing to find the second suspect.
