A father crushed and dragged 15m by a truck before his wife's horrified eyes

Exhibition of an abrupt family tragedy: Blacktown Road - Father-of-three Amin Saidiwi, 40, was hit and dragged 15 meters by a truck in Sydney, following a road dispute. According to the police, he was deliberately hit after blaming the truck driver for snagging his SUV. Despite the violence of the accident, the truck driver fled before help arrived. Mr. Saidiwi remains in hospital with serious leg injuries. The incident traumatized his wife, Sajedeh Mohsni, who witnessed the scene. A 27-year-old Brazilian student turned himself in to the police the following day, was charged with several offences and released on bail pending trial, scheduled for September 12.
