Five Britons face extradition to Albania for their alleged involvement in the brutal murder of Ardian Nikulaj, as part of a bloody old dispute. Pretending to be tourists, they familiarized themselves with their target and his family in the luxury hotel owned by Nikulaj, before executing him in the establishment's restaurant. Harriet Bridgeman, Thomas Mithan and Harry Simpson were denied appeals, leaving the Secretary of State to decide their fate. Edmond Haxhia, a British-Albanian accused of orchestrating the murder, and a fifth British man, Steven Hunt, are also implicated. The alleged shooter, Ruben Saraiva, is currently awaiting trial in Albania.
