Thief trapped under stolen pickup after crashing into police car

In Dallas, Texas, a thief became trapped under the pickup he had stolen, after attempting to run over a police vehicle. The police arrested three armed men after discovering the stolen vehicle. For Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia, this was no simple vehicle theft. He firmly believes there was a more dangerous plan of action that day, and believes a life was saved thanks to the intervention of his officers. Eric Lampkin-Scarbrough (17), Deantae Moore (19) and Damon Price (21) were apprehended, with an accomplice managing to escape. Moore was also charged with a double homicide in March. No officers were injured during the operation.
