A cocaine-addicted driver of a 10-tonne HGV caused a seven-vehicle accident on the M25 freeway. The driver, Alan Smith, was given a three-and-a-half-year driving ban following the appalling accident last February. He changed lanes dangerously at around 6.27am, causing a collision with a grey Toyota Corolla. Five other vehicles were involved in the collision. On-board cameras show the chaos created by the accident. Despite life-threatening injuries to a 60-year-old man, Smith did not stop his vehicle. Stopped 160 kilometers away, tests revealed that he had consumed cocaine.
