Ladarius Morshun Brownlee, 28, is accused of shooting his girlfriend Seyedeh 'Zahra' Hashemi after the July 4 fireworks in Flower Mound, Texasq. Brownlee faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon and three counts of reckless driving. After an intense argument during Independence Day celebrations, Brownlee shot Zahra above the right eye. The victim was found in the street, seriously wounded, and transported to hospital. Witnesses reported that the couple were quarrelling on the way home and that Brownlee stopped the car to shoot.
