Terrified man chased and beaten by a gang of teenagers in dystopian Washington DC

Teenagers attacked a man on the streets of Washington, D.C., and the terrifying scene was captured on a vehicle's in-car camera. The incident took place on Monday evening near a riverside apartment complex in Buzzard Point. The man can be seen defending himself from his assailants, before managing to elude three of them. One of the teenagers, however, continues to pursue him, while the others observe the scene with mocking smiles. Although the man refused to press charges, the police conducted their own investigation after reviewing the video. This event is part of an upsurge in crime in Washington in recent years, where homicide figures reached their highest level in 25 years in 2023.
