Nightmare in California: 100 burglars loot a gas station

Following recent statements by Oakland mayor Sheng Thao about a drop in crime in her city, a gas station was spectacularly looted by nearly a hundred hooded thieves. The escalation of the incident began with a car ramming into the glass doors of the store, clearing the way for the thieves, who promptly ransacked the premises. CCTV footage shows that they took their time, with no apparent sign of police on the scene. Following the incident, the owner tried to contact the police, but to no avail. Police later clarified that they had only been alerted once the thieves had left, with CCTV revealing the seriousness of the situation.
