A Toronto police officer is torn apart by a suspect who flees in an SUV

A police officer was injured on April 30 in Toronto during a car theft investigation. Investigators located two stolen vehicles and attempted to arrest two suspects. One was apprehended after a short foot chase. The second hit an officer with a minivan as he tried to escape. The vehicle then struck a building before the suspect escaped on foot. Despite the violence of the impact, the injured officer suffered only minor injuries. Police are still searching for the second suspect.
