During a sermon at Jesus' Dwelling Place Church in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, a gunman attempted to shoot Pastor Glenn Germany. With the gun pointed at him, Pastor Germany managed to dodge. Church member Deacon Clarence McCallister then subdued the assailant until the police arrived. The suspect, Bernard Polite, was arrested and charged. After his arrest, he spoke of hearing voices and expressed regret for his act. Police are also investigating the death of Derek Polite, found lifeless in the suspect's home.
