Promising soccer player arrested by police during a burglary

Promising soccer player Arik Gilbert has been arrested for burglary in Lincoln, Nebraska. Gilbert is accused of robbing a liquor and vape store. Video surveillance shows him using his gambling skills to break through the window, then the door, and take away over $1,600 worth of merchandise. Unfortunately for him, the police were waiting for him outside the establishment. His arrest comes as he awaited an NCAA decision on his eligibility for the 2023 season, after transferring to Nebraska. The question of his eligibility now becomes secondary in light of his arrest.
