A passenger deported from a plane hits a police officer escorting him

A Polish passenger was arrested in Colombia after punching a police officer during his deportation from a Spirit Airlines flight to Florida. The man, also a US resident, was intoxicated and got into altercations with other passengers. The incident took place at Barranquilla's Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport. The passenger was restrained and removed from the plane. Colombian police said his behavior was linked to a legal battle over custody of his son. Spirit Airlines banned the passenger from its flights, stating that it does not tolerate aggressive behavior.
