Cristy Gonzales, victim of an assault by a police officer in Pueblo, Colorado, has filed a federal complaint. Accused of vehicle theft, she was electrocuted with a Taser by Bennie Villanueva, while she was on the ground. The police acknowledged the excessive use of force, but failed to report the incident to the state commission, which could have resulted in the officer's suspension. Police Chief Chris Noeller issued a reprimand to Villanueva for this and other offenses.
