Schizophrenic shot several times after assaulting police officer (Warning - shocking)

On October 4, 2023 in Ohio, USA, a serious incident occurred involving 36-year-old Michael Frierson, diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. His sister, Yolanda Frierson, alerted emergency services after being attacked by Michael, who had been agitated all day. When police intervened, Michael refused to open the door, forcing officers to break it down. He then attacked a police officer, wounding him in the head. In response, Michael was shot several times in the chest and abdomen. Still alive, he is now charged with domestic violence and assault on a police officer.
