He kills a disabled old man because he offered a banana to his girlfriend

Valdir Prates Braga, an elderly man with intellectual development disorders, was murdered by a 26-year-old boy with a kick in the back. The incident took place in Patrocínio, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Valdir was known for offering bananas to passers-by, a gesture misinterpreted by the assailant seeing Valdir offering a fruit to his girlfriend. A surveillance video shows the brutal attack, with Valdir falling and remaining motionless. Rescuers tried to save him, but Valdir died of cardiac arrest during transport to hospital. The assailant, already known for theft, drug trafficking and possession of an illegal weapon, was arrested and charged withhomicide.
