Boxer attacks 78-year-old man (sentenced to 19 months in prison)

In a Manchester pub, 35-year-old bare-knuckle boxer Douglas Joyce violently assaulted a 78-year-old man. The brutal attack, which was filmed, showed Joyce delivering several blows to the victim's face, aggravated by a gold ring. The seriously injured old man was thrown backwards, falling onto chairs. Joyce, president of 3D Fight Club, also encouraged his father to hit the victim. Arrested and charged with assault, Joyce was sentenced to 19 months in prison. No reason was given for the assault.
