A thug throws a concrete slab into the head of a woman wearing a hijab

On a street in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, a woman wearing a hijab was the victim of a frightening attack. A hooded man dressed in black threw a concrete block at her as she stood under an umbrella. Fortunately, she managed to duck at the last moment and ran towards two stunned passers-by. After the incident, a shopkeeper came out of his store to intervene. The assailant then quietly left the scene. West Yorkshire Police have arrested a 57-year-old man on suspicion of the attack.
