Fugitives get stuck on a police vehicle as they try to escape

In Alexandra Hills, near Brisbane, an alarming situation occurred at around 9am on Saturday. A blue Mitsubishi ASX car, suspected of being stolen, was spotted by police at the intersection of Finucane Road and Cambridge Drive. When police tried to block it, the Mitsubishi driver reversed and hit a Mercedes, before backing into a cement truck. In a frantic attempt to stop the driver, the Mitsubishi crashed into the police car, riding with two of its wheels on top of it. Fortunately, the police officers were not injured. Four teenagers were arrested following the incident. The car was reportedly stolen in Coombabah the day before.
