Fireworks target police officers

in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, police officers were targeted by a burst of fireworks that exploded close to them. The officers, members of a dirt bike unit, were retrieving a scooter from a residential street when the attack took place. Despite the 105m distance between them and the assailants, the fireworks were remarkably accurate. Residents who witnessed the scene were terrified. Fortunately, no one was injured. South Yorkshire Police are actively searching for the culprits.
