Armed police responded to an altercation between two dogs in Croydon, south London. On Sunday afternoon, at around 1.50pm, a large bull-type dog allegedly attacked a puppy near a Sainsbury's store on High Street. The owner of the attacking dog, apparently intoxicated, tried to prevent police officers from doing their job and had to be restrained while lying on the ground. Eight police officers were on the scene, and the Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of the dog owner and the seizure of the animal.
