Live murder of wheelchair-bound man in Ecuador (Warning - shocking)

Pedro Luis Toala Rezabala, nicknamed "Lagrimita", aged 33 and paraplegic, was tragically murdered in Portoviejo, Ecuador, while streaming live on TikTok. The incident, which took place at around 9:45pm on October 17, shows Rezabala in his wheelchair, brandishing a gun as two men arrive on a motorcycle. A third man appears and shoots him at point-blank range. The assailants flee, leaving the victim behind. Although the motives remain unknown, Rezabala had a criminal past. He had survived an assassination attempt years earlier. The growing violence in Ecuador has seen its homicide rate rise dramatically in recent years.
