Thieves are confronted and break their victim's car

A Melbourne man was swindled out of €1,700 after buying an iPhone on the Facebook Marketplace that turned out to be faulty. Wishing to get his money back, the buyer and two of his friends tricked the seller into getting into their car for a chat. As they tried to convince him to return the money, the seller called his friends for help. An altercation ensued: the thief and his friends attacked the buyer and his companions, then smashed the windshield and a rear-view mirror of his car.
