Man shot during protest against statue

During a protest against the statue of Spanish conquistador Juan de Oñate in New Mexico, a shocking incident broke out. A man, Ryan Martinez, 23, shot at a protester attempting to attack the statue. The wounded victim was quickly rushed to hospital. Fortunately, the Rio Arriba County Sheriff arrested the shooter and no further search for suspects is underway.
