A zookeeper came close to danger at the Ecological Zoo in Changsha, Hunan province, China, when he tried to break up a battle between two territorial hippos. Entering the enclosure to feed the animal, the keeper had to flee in a hurry to escape the enraged hippo's attack. He slipped on the wet ground but managed to fend off the animal with his arms and feet. The hippo left him alone for a moment, but charged again. Fortunately, the guard escaped injury. Officials from the Changsha Forestry Bureau are now investigating the incident
