A Russian plane lands too far down the runway and explodes as it plunges into the scenery

The Il-76, a Russian-made transport aircraft, was the protagonist of a tragic incident in Africa. While landing in Gao, Mali, the aircraft failed to stop in time and quickly turned into a devastating inferno. Although the video of the accident clearly shows that the aircraft was not shot down, it appears to have landed too far down the 2,500-meter runway and failed to brake for the last 500 meters. The aircraft belongs to the Malian army, but rumors have circulated of a possible connection with the mercenary Wagner army, present in Mali. Sources close to Wagner denied any involvement.
