Daylight assault in Los Angeles: a woman dragged for her purse.

In a terrifying scene captured in broad daylight in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hacienda Heights, a woman was dragged away by a man trying to steal her purse. As the man violently dragged her several meters into a Bank of America parking lot, witnesses rushed to the victim's aid. Although the woman suffered only minor injuries, the unidentified assailant managed to escape with the bag. Shocked residents have expressed concern at an apparent increase in daylight crime. Police are currently using video footage to try and track down the assailant
