In Kentucky, police freed a woman who was chained to the floor like a dog. After reports from neighbors who heard her cries for help, police had to scale a second-floor window, as the house was completely barricaded. The woman had managed to break the window of the room where she was being held. Once inside, the officers used a hatchet found on site to break the chain. The victim, in a state of shock, was treated by the emergency services. Moises May, 36, was arrested and charged with several crimes, including the kidnapping and confinement of his wife.
