48-year-old woman caught hitting cat with brick (Warning - shocking)

Pamela Mattinson, 48, was filmed trying to kill her kitten with a brick after locking it in a garbage can. She threw the brick several times into the container while watching the terrified animal's condition after each impact. Following a confrontation with a neighbor, she was arrested after taking the cat to a vet. Although she claimed to have wanted to "put the animal out of its misery" after accidentally injuring it, she pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering. Judge Nicholas Clarke gave her a suspended prison sentence and banned her from keeping animals for ten years.
